Ariete100.jpgThough curious about everything and with a desire to learn, Aries is not one to bury themselves in the library, preferring to act rather than sit still and wait for something to happen. They show their inclinations and the path they would like to follow early in life. Often they reject long term study programmes, preferring to find something that satisfies their lively spirit of adventure, and are not fond of studying many hours each day. They are intelligent, enthusiastic about some subjects, but they find it difficult to get to the bottom of things and in some cases may be superficial, concentrating on the fundamental notions that will allow them to get acceptable results. If provoked they can act out of pure stubbornness. They can shine in German, courageously follow law and economics studies, without excessively going on about things, preferring direct experience to great tomes. They are religious in a natural and spontaneous way, trusting to the Heavens.

The New Age

Ariete.jpgThe return to nature, as declared by the Age of Aquarius with its inner and spiritual implications, constitutes a life choice for Aries, in that they adore the most spectacular parts of the day (daybreak, high noon, sunset) and the year (spring, with its explosion of vitality and colour, like a return to the origins of the Cosmos, and summer, with its concentration of solar energy). Without feeling fanatical Aries simply chooses every occasion to be in close contact with nature still intact, adoring hot countries of the Third World that have not lost their primitive image. Aries spiritually draws strength and vigour from their way of life, cherry trees in blossom, the sea in eternal movement and tall mountains that take them closer to higher worlds, suitable perhaps to primitive religions of ancient times, in symbiosis with the Cosmos. As above, so below, according to the philosophy of the ancients still alive today ...

Aries and the 12 Ascendants

Ariete118.jpgPeople today are usually well informed about the location of their Ascendant, which varies according to the time of birth. An Aries can therefore have the Ascendant in any one of the twelve signs. The Ascendant is the zodiac sign ascending, or rising, over the eastern horizon at the moment of birth and is calculated according to the day, month, year, time and place of birth. The Ascendant is the starting point for the division of the zodiac into the astrological houses, each one representing a different area of our life. The Ascendant signifies inheritance, education and childhood, relationships with the family and ancestors. Also the physical aspect is conditioned by it and it is fundamental to the analysis of the birth chart. The Ascendant often falls in one of the parents' signs, more often the mother's, creating a certain affinity between the two.

Health and Vitality

Those born under the sign of Aries need to protect the head, above all in cold climates and during the winter. They need to get enough rest, have regular dental check ups and guard against the dangers of always being in a hurry which affects the digestion and increases the risk of sports injury. It is not easy for this sign to think in terms of prevention; more often than not they very distracted in this respect until they don't feel well, when then they can follow advice to the letter, passing from boldness to obvious fear. It is highly unlikely that Aries fall prey to depression or states of exhaustion.
